Rainbow Six Mobile: The Ultimate Guide to Download and Play on iOS Devices

Rainbow Six Mobile is a premium action game from Ubisoft. This game is the official mobile port for the hit 2015 first-person shooter of the same name, but with new features optimized for on-the-go players. It has classic maps from the console version, with a host of all-new ones scheduled for succeeding updates.

For playable characters, R6M starts with ten Operators as opposed to the full 63-character roster in the original version for other devices. Although others are on their way, the initial lineup is balanced and serves to demonstrate just how optimized the game is for mobile devices. From Sledge to Hibana for attackers to Bandit and Mute for defenders, the game already has enough content to get you going.

Rainbow Six Siege made its way to the mobile platform with the title Rainbow Six Mobile. The game was announced earlier this month and the first beta program is already on its way. The developer/publisher, Ubisoft, says that the gameplay is exactly the same as the PC version. However, you may not be able to play it cross-platform with PC users. This is a mobile-exclusive game meant for Android and iOS platforms.

If you want to get in on the action, then register for the Rainbow Six Mobile and you may just get to download the game on May 3, 2022. Alternatively, wait for the APK download below.

Earlier this year, Ubisoft revealed that its massively-popular tactical shooter, Rainbow Six Siege, is coming to mobile. During September 10's Ubisoft Forward, the studio offered fans a closer look at the upcoming mobile game--as well as information on how they can sign up to play it during it's closed beta starting on September 12.

Announced earlier this year, Rainbow Six Mobile is an upcoming free-to-play shooter that adapts Rainbow Six Siege for mobile devices. For those looking to see how it fares against the console version, Android users in the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, the Philippines, Singapore, and India are invited to sign up for a chance to join the closed beta on Google Play.

The mobile requirements for this version of Rainbow Six Siege have not been revealed just yet. It will most likely be similar to other mobile versions of popular FPS games. For example, Call of Duty: Mobile requires at least 2 GB of RAM on iOS and Android. You must be running iOS 9.0 or Android 5.1 and up.

Bank and Border are currently the only maps revealed to be in the mobile version of Rainbow Six Mobile. Bank is located in the middle of a highly populated city, giving attackers the challenge of infiltrating a heavily fortified bank. Border is a "deadly outpost" between two countries.

For a close comparison, Riot Games has made no secret of having ambitions to bring Valorant to mobile, an equally hardcore tactical shooter. Apex Legends is also testing a mobile version, which is a less precise title, but also way more chaotic.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Mobile is an upcoming free-to-play tactical shooter and the eighteenth installment in the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Franchise. Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, it is the first mobile game in the series to be developed since Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard and is set to be released in 2023.[1]

The game features a currently character-based system in the form of Operators. Eighteen Operators are currently available and have been taken directly from Siege. Players may only choose one Operator per round. Additionally, once an Operator is chosen, it will be locked out from being chosen by other players. There are two types of Operators: Attackers and Defenders. As their name implies, Attacking and Defending Operators feature unique skills and gadgets that are specialized for their respective role. While Operator retain their unique abilities from Siege, several have been slightly modified to optimize them mobile platforms.

Weapons perform in a similar manner as their counterparts in Siege but have been adjusted for mobile gameplay. Each Operator initially has access to a primary weapon, a secondary weapon, and a gadget, and a unique ability. Each weapon and gadget are unique to a specific Operator and are obtained through progression with that Operator. Weapon performance may be customized through the use of weapon attachments.

The game currently features three known maps: Bank, Border, and Clubhouse. While each map has been ported directly from Siege, they have been built from the ground up and have been slightly modified to optimize them for the mobile platform. This includes changing destruction aspects on maps as well as removing ladders.

Having access to the first beta will allow users to download the game on the Google Play Store with the same account that was used for the initial beta access. The rest of the users can access the closed beta on Android from June 8 while the limited iOS beta will be available for the users from June 12.
